Is my data safe?
Yes! In order to provide real value, we connect the affiliate stats and user data. When we first thought of Routy, we knew that data security is critical to our users. This is why we use AES 128 which prevents data from leaking and our working contract prevents us from using your data. For us, it is crystal clear that your data is safe, but please tell us if you have any concerns and we’ll be happy to address them.
What happens if Routy is down?
If Routy is down, your traffic will not reach the final LPs and you will see no data, and this would be pretty bad. That’s why our system is stored on cloud services that provide 99.9% SLA, which is even better than most WordPress hosting services.
Why do you need my affiliate account login details?
Affiliate programs account data, combined with our tracking system, tells us where the money comes from - through which page, keyword, or traffic source. Just tracking or affiliate stats alone are not enough for true business optimization. To ensure your logins are safe, they are encrypted so no one can access them.
What is the Master Password?
Routy pulls affiliate backend data using a crawler. The crawler will use the affiliate account username and password to log in the affiliate account. To keep the account password secured, we encrypt the affiliate username with the master password. While the encrypted password is stored on our main DB, the master password is stored on a different server and database to ensure as much security as possible.
Why is Routy asking me to input my Master Password?
Every so often, Routy will ask you to input your Master Password. This is purely for security reasons, and is what the crawler needs to work. In this case simply input the master password you set when you added your first accounts to Routy.
How do I check my account limits?
To check your account limits, use the Quick Actions button in the top right of the product. Here you can see the Limits button, that will show you the percentage of traffic sources, accounts, clicks, pixels, webhooks and views you’ve used up so far.
