If your account is not showing stats, or the numbers are not matching your affiliate program numbers, there are a few checks you can do. In this article we will look at:
- Crawling Status section
- Account Currency section
To check that your account is being crawled correctly, press Crawling Status on the side menu. Here you can see the Program, Account Name you inputted when setting it up, the last time the account was crawled, and a message from the last crawl (if any). If there is no message, it means the account ran fine.
If there is an error or you wish to get the latest data from you have the option to:
- Crawl Reports
- Read Reports
You can understand the difference between the two processes below:
|Routy Stats Extraction Process
|Extracts latest data from affiliate program
|Stores latest data from affiliate program
|Transforms raw data from affiliate program
|Loads data into Routy
Whilst the Crawl Reports covers all steps, the advantage of the Read Reports process is that it is faster. Some cases when to use Read and Crawl reports:
- If a crawl happened in the last hour or two, we recommend running a Read Reports process first
- If data from previous days (check the Daily Breakdown) is not matching, we recommend running a Read Reports process first
- However, if it's been more than a few hours since the last crawl, you should run a Crawl Reports.
- If there is an error message, you should run the Crawl Reports
The crawl should happen after a couple of minutes, and if successful, you will see that there is no message near the account. If the message persists, please set up a ticket.
If your commission numbers do not match the program, make sure that the account currency is set correctly. If not set correctly, Routy will convert the numbers it extracts to your Routy account currency. To check this, head over to the account page and simply press Actions > Account Profile. In the pop up window, you can check the account currency as shown below.
If the currency is correct, please set up a ticket.
