What is a commission plan?
Commission plans refer to the deal/s you have in place with the operator/advertiser for that specific affiliate account. At Routy we recommend setting up your plans for all your accounts, however you should note that some softwares provide revenues by default at a tracker and click id level (e.g. Income Access), while others such as BetMGM Partners and NetRefer, do not.
How to create a commission plan
On the account for which you want to set the commission plan, press the Commission Plans tab and press the Add button.
Input the brand/s for which this commission plan applies, and the start date of the plan. Choose the countries for which this plan applies (leave blank if for all GEOs). After this go to the next step where you can input the currency of your deal, as well as the details of your deal.
If your deal changes, you can simply add a new deal with a new start date, and Routy will recognize this and use the new deal from the new start date.
Setting a commission plan
After creating a commission plan, Routy will match the details you set with the data internally. However, for more complex deals, we recommend setting a commission plan. A commission plan can be set:
- At an account level - Plan will be applied for the entire account on all reports
- At a tracking profile level - Plan will be applied for a specific tracking profile on the tracking profile report
- At a link level - Plan will be applied for a specific link on the Business Intelligence reports
